Foundation Open Door
We are committed to creating a greener and more inclusive world for future generations. It is with this mission in mind that we have proudly partnered with the Open Door Foundation to support their inspiring Open Dorp project.
The Open Door Foundation is dedicated to guiding and empowering young people with disabilities, helping them build the skills and independence they need to provide for themselves. We wholeheartedly share their vision for a more equitable and sustainable community.
Empowers’ contribution to the Open Dorp project comes in the form of a donated FlatFix Fusion system, provided by our subsidiary, Esdec, an Enstall company. This solar installation not only promotes sustainability but also symbolizes our commitment to fostering a more equal society for all residents of Open Dorp.
Our former employee, Marc Dalderup, has been involved with Open Door since its inception. In his role as Director of Business Development & Market Intelligence for Enstall, he facilitated the donation of the necessary materials. Empowers was delighted to provide these materials free of charge and took the responsibility of installing the entire system. We also extend our gratitude to our partners Trina Solar and SolarEdge, who generously donated the solar panels and inverters, respectively.
Together with the Open Door Foundation, we are lighting the way for a brighter and more sustainable future. This collaboration exemplifies our dedication to making a positive impact by providing access to clean energy and promoting inclusivity.
