We believe in nurturing the next generation of innovators and leaders in science and technology. That’s why we’re proud to announce our partnership with Wolfpack Robotics, a vital player in the nationwide FIRST Inspires Program founded by Dean Kamen over 30 years ago.
Wolfpack Robotics is driven by a mission to inspire young minds to become science and technology leaders and innovators. They achieve this by engaging students in mentor-based programs designed to build STEM skills, aligning perfectly with Empowers’ mission. However, Wolfpack’s impact extends beyond STEM education, fostering values like teamwork, communication, and leadership.
As a key sponsor, Empowers provides essential financial support that enables Wolfpack Robotics to acquire all the necessary raw materials and components for the construction of their robots each season. This support is instrumental in allowing these young minds to turn their creative ideas into reality.
Based at Cosumnes Oaks High School in Elk Grove, near Sacramento, Wolfpack Robotics is a testament to the potential within our high school communities. Their dedication to robotics knows no bounds, as they continue to meet throughout the summer, honing their skills in 3D modeling, complex mechanisms, and software development.
